How much does it cost?
The cost to you for your own self managed site is $15 AU a month payable by invoice through Paypal.
Is it hard to manage my own website?
If you can manage the basic office applications on a PC then you already have the necessary skills to manage your site in an hour. Managing the content of your site is like editing a document using Microsoft Word.
How do I get face to face lessons?
I’m in Melbourne, Australia about 4 kilometres from the CBD. If possible, I will come to you or we can meet in a wireless cafe or at another venue close to the city. If you live a long distance away or you’re outside of Australia, I train you by using video tutorials.
I’m a slow learner, what if I don’t pick it up in an hour?
You should! But I can give you up to three training sessions of an hour each for no extra cost.
How long would I have to spend working on my site?
When you first start it will take you about 2 – 3 hours to set up your own site, depending on the content you wish to upload. The first hour will be during your training session. Once your site is set up, then the time you spend is up to you. Some people spend an hour a week on their site while others may spend a half hour every couple of days. It’s your call.
What if I get stuck and unsure about something?
Send me an email or phone me. My clients have my private phone number. You also have access to a private support site with forums, tutes, new designs, new add-ons and general questions answered.
Are there any hidden costs?
All costs are upfront. Your payment of $15 AU a month covers your domain name registration, installation of platform, your choice of designs from over 50 themes or a theme designed especially for you, training, Paypal integration, new plugins and innovative add-ons as available, plus ongoing maintenance and full support. You also get SEO, marketing ideas and don’t forget the free membership to the private support site which has heaps of practical advice, tips and tricks for the small business site owner.
I don’t want to manage my own site, can’t you do it for me?
Yep, no worries. You don’t want to do it then I’ll do it for you, but your payment would be $40 AU a month. All work you send me via email is guaranteed to be completed within 24 hours.
Am I locked into an agreement with you?
Not at all. The agreement is on a monthly basis, you can simply choose not to pay the next month.
What about my domain name?
If I hold your domain name when you leave, I will transfer it to you for the price which I paid. My domain names are under $20
